  15. An attempt to enumerate a directory path longer than 260 characters
  16. fails both in the File Manager and at the command prompt. Other
  17. operations, such as setting Windows NT or Macintosh permissions in
  18. Windows NT, fail as well. This behavior can cause problems when you
  19. run Windows NT Services for Macintosh (SFM) because Macintosh paths
  20. often exceed 260 characters.

  22. To work around this limitation, view the directory or set the required
  23. permissions on a Macintosh.

  25. NOTE: Because of this limitation, you cannot backup these directories
  26. using Microsoft Windows NT Backup.
